Oi! Today we are gonna learn the English alphabet, our ABC’s.
There’s 26 letters in the English alphabet, 5 of those are vowels, a, e, i, o, u.
Some of them make many sounds, we’re gonna do what’s called the short and long sound of each of the vowels as well as all the other letters, which are called consonants. I’m gonna give you guys two different sounds that the C, the G, and the X make as well.
So I encourage you guys to read and repeat. Okay, so here we go.

- B [bi:] ball.
- C, [k] cat, or C, [si:] century.
- D, dog,
- E, elephant or E [i:] eager.
- F, fun.
- G, gum or g giraffe.
- H, horse.
- I, insect or i [aÉŖ] island.
- J, job.
- K, kite.
- L, lollipop.
- M, money.
- N, nice.
- O, ostrich, or O oats.
- P, play,
- Q, quack.
- R, run.
- S, snake.
- T, toy.
- U, umbrella or U [ju:] usually.
- V, van.
- W, wild.
- X [eks] tax or X [z] xylophone.
- Y, yellow and
- Z [zi:] zoo.
