Hi. Welcome back to my YouTube channel, Learn English with Camille. Or if you’re listening on the podcast, welcome. I’m Camille.
I’m Calvin. And today we have a fun video podcast for you. We are going to be playing a game, Would You Rather. Calvin does not know these questions, but we’ll both answer them.

This is an intermediate level video, so we’ll be speaking a little faster and not thinking so much about our words. So we hope that you guys enjoy it. Don’t forget to hit the thumbs up and subscribe for more videos.
Are you ready?
I think I’m ready.

Would you rather always be hot or always be cold?
Always be hot, 100%, yeah. I hate being cold, so I say the same. Yeah, I’m Scandinavian, which means I’m from Norway, Sweden area. And I don’t know how my ancestors survived.

I know I just spent last weekend in Belgium with my winter coat, and it’s October, and my friend was like, “This is nothing,” and I was like, “Oh, I’m freezing.”

Would you rather live in the city or live in the countryside?
If I had the best of both worlds, that’d be great. Right now we live on the outskirts of a city, and it’s in a great spot, I think.
Yeah, because we can walk to our city center in 10 minutes, but we’re not like, right in the downtown area, which is nice.
Maybe when we get older, we’ll want to be in the countryside, probably. But also our city here is not so big, so that helps.

Would you rather have more time or more money?
That’s a tough one. I mean, I would probably say more time.
But what would I do if I don’t have enough money to do things? So it is a tough one. But I would say more time too.
Cause I feel like, I guess with some money, we can just hug each other.
Oh my gosh. Oh, the things he says. I never know.

Would you rather never be able to watch TV again or never be able to listen to music again?
Definitely TV. Yeah, music is so healing, inspiring. It can change moods. It’s so powerful. TV is good entertainment and includes music, but I definitely think music is kind of the baseline.
What about you?
Tricky. I think since music is in TV shows, I would say never music, but that’s hard.
It is a hard choice. I’m thankful we don’t have to choose it.

Would you rather have a job you love but make little money or a job you dislike but make a lot of money?
Yeah, 100%. Make less money and have a job that I like. Because a job takes up most of our life and time, so if we’re not enjoying what we’re doing, that sucks.
Of course, like, having the best of both worlds would be great, but yeah, since we’re in this game, I would choose that.

Would you rather travel to the past or travel to the future?
Ooh, that’s a good question. I think I would definitely travel to the past if I didn’t have to stay there. If I could just go there and, like, say hi to Jesus and eat a meal with him.
I don’t know. A month would probably be amazing with Jesus.
I would go to the future because we already, like, can read about the past. Obviously, it’s different than being there physically, but I’m curious about the future, what it would be like.

Would you rather lose the ability to read or lose the ability to speak?
That is a good question, man. I guess I’ll just say lose the ability to speak, because man, it would be tough not being able to read.
I would say speak as well, but obviously it’s a hard one.

Would you rather live without your iPhone or smartphone or live without your laptop?
Definitely, my iPhone I could live without. Maybe it would be hard, but the computer is so much more powerful.
Yes. In my case, I edit my videos, my reels, I do live streams. So I think I would choose to live without my laptop and just use Calvin’s.

Would you rather always be 10 minutes late or 20 minutes early?
20 minutes early, definitely. I try to be 20 minutes early to most things. I feel rude when I’m late.

Would you rather have a rewind button or a pause button for your life?
I would definitely say rewind. Redo a few things.
I would say pause because we’ve had so many amazing moments where I’m just like, pause, let’s stay in this for a long time.

Would you rather be able to fly or be able to teleport?
Fly, because that would be sweet.
I would say teleport. I think being able to fly would be terrifying.

Would you rather live by the ocean or live in the mountains?
I guess by the ocean. If I had to choose one, yeah, I would definitely choose the ocean.

Would you rather have a personal chef or a personal driver?
Personal chef for sure.
Hey, you need to learn to drive a stick!

Would you rather never get sick again or never be stuck in traffic again?
Oh, never be sick again, 100%.

Would you rather eat your favorite meal every day or never eat it again?
I would say never eat it again because there are so many other good foods.

Would you rather be famous or be rich?
Definitely rich. I’d hate to be famous.

Would you rather only be able to whisper or only be able to shout?
I guess whisper.

Would you rather give up coffee or give up sweets?
I’d give up anything for coffee. Wow.

Would you rather always have to wear formal clothes or always have to wear casual clothes?
I kind of just wear casual clothes anyway, so it would be tough to always wear formal.

Would you rather have a lifetime supply of free flights or a lifetime supply of free hotel stays?
Oh, definitely flights.
If any hotels are watching, give us some free stays!

Thank you guys so much for watching Would You Rather, or listening to the podcast. Don’t forget to give it a thumbs up, comment, share, and subscribe on Youtube!
