If you get a wedgie, it is when your underwear enters your bum crack and gets stuck. Here are 2 example sentences using wedgie:

2. The act of “giving a wedgie.”

The word “wedgie” is commonly used to describe a prank where someone pulls another person’s underwear up forcefully, causing discomfort. It’s often associated with schoolyard jokes and teasing among friends. For example:

The kids at school gave him a wedgie as a prank.

Picking a wedgie

The act of freeing the wedgie is called: Picking your wedgie. It can be very uncomfortable to have a wedgie and very hard to “pick” it in public. It is best to go to the bathroom or a place where no one will see you.

Jenny had such a bad wedgie that she had to go to the bathroom to pick it.

 

SIDE NOTE: “Wedgy” is not a standard spelling, though some people might mistakenly use it.
